Listen to the stories told
in the whispers of your mind
seek ye find the secrets old--
seek and ye shall find.

Take the journey
take the step
cross the barrier
of Lethe
look past the past
forgive regret
a river's memory
begets
all the guilt
of "should have been"
stitch the quilt
of "could have been"
leaving now a patterned bliss
memories of what was missed.

Listen...shhhh...
I'll kiss your hand
in silent stare
of understand.
Fingers laced upon my lips...
electric sparks on fingertips.

Celeste I've read this one before and I enjoyed it very much then as I do now..... It makes me take a trip into the river of oblivion.....wonderful trip!  Keep up the good work sweetheart...you're doin great!

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie
