Who are you that comes in midnight sleep,
are you from the future, I’ll eventually meet?
Or are you from the distant past,
stirring thoughts meant to last?
Face indistinct and blurred to me
yet instincts tell me I want to see.

Are you the balm for a broken heart,
or are you the remembrance of never part?
Do you show that once before,
love stood the test forevermore?
Did you come to heal my soul,
leaving love and tenderness as your goal?

I think of this as I lay awake,
knowing you came for my sake.
It matters not what is to believe,
whether of past lives or eternity.
The only outcome I could see,
it make the new day more peaceful for me.

Logan, this is so like my dream of last week. I can feel the hope and love within.
Beautiful, romantic, with just the smallest touch of melancholy.

Logan~
This is one of the prettiest things I've read from you.

'I think of this as I lay awake,
knowing you came for my sake.
It matters not what is to believe,
whether of past lives or eternity.
The only outcome I could see,
it make the new day more peaceful for me.'

Oh, to make another's day more peaceful ...
should be the achievement of us all.
Lovely thoughts, my friend.
Hmmmm !  See, dream catchers DO work !

If I tried to copy my favorite part, I'd be repeating the entire poem. *S* This is beautiful, Logan.
