Catching A Falling Star
By: Noah Eaton
6/11/01

Deep down into the depths of my heart
A shooting star waltzes from endless space
Her milky lips an eager piercing quasar
Eiderdown intimacies emblaze my face
Snap-dragons of eve aflame in amorous traipse
Sheen smoke shimmering from warbling eyes
Revealing vernal beauty of dreams at last
Quintessence interlaced at first sight
Wearing her soothing smile as a lovers band
As she ties the love knot of my soul
Dance we shall in merry tryst, hand in hand
Lathered in this emollient evening of gold
Answering her whisper, catching a falling star
This twinkling betrothal to my soul that shan’t mar
