In a corporeal internship...

Prove to yourself that it can be done
Find the courage where you think there's none
You've wanted to do this all your life,
So go for it now, and forget the strife!

You've got a chance in front of you...
You know what you want, but not what to do.
You're scared and you're nervous, so once more you find
Another opportunity gets left behind.

It's not the first time you've let yourself down
And it's not the last time you'll wear a frown.
You'll keep on making the same mistake
Until you learn to take a risk and give yourself a break...

Prove to yourself that it can be done
Find the courage where you think there's none
You've wanted to do this all your life,
So go for it now, and forget the strife!

You know you can do it;
You've just got to try
You'll see there's nothing to it --
Just let your instinct guide...
The spur of the moment
Is what it's all about
Forget your inner torment
And let your true self out...

True timing matters, but don't fall victim to
Waiting for a moment that's right in front of you...
Fight the paralysis that holds you still;
Shatter the barrier, and show some will!

Prove to yourself that it can be done
Find the courage where you think there's none
You've wanted to do this all your life,
So go for it now, and forget the strife!

Keep in mind, you may never get another chance...
Jump on it now and make use of this circumstance!
It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
The courage is within you, and it's time you set it free!

Many years down the road
When you're tired and feeling old,
You'll look back with a smile
Realizing Courage made your life worthwhile...

Prove to yourself that it can be done
Find the courage where you think there's none
You've wanted to do this all your life,
So go for it now, and forget the strife!

You know you can do it;
You've just got to try
You'll see there's nothing to it --
Just let your instinct guide...
The spur of the moment
Is what it's all about
Forget your inner torment
And let your true self out...

Oh yes indeed!  Tell the naysayers and non-productives to take a hike....who says what it is we are NOT capable of?  Only ourselves...

and that is a sound I would rather not hear, so I will join you in the run to outrace negativity....

Deca:  there's on old Russian adage that translates, "When they say that you can't -- then it means that you MUST."  Need we say more?  Thanks for reading.

...what marvelously warm and encouraging words...

"...don't ever stop loving, don't ever stop believing, don't ever stop dreaming your dreams..."
Warmly...

Mark, this is another song, I think. And I surely tell myself this often. The problem comes when you go for it and take the risk and it breaks your heart.
Sigh..

Fancy:  thank you...  I hope they are and can encourage others out there to reconsider running away from what could prove to be the best moment in their lives...

My poor Sandra -- I feel your hurt...  Have faith in Karma, for it is a natural order of the universe -- to maintain equilibrium in all things.  When one gives up trying, one has given up on life.  The lesson to learn is  to see the good in all things, though understandably, it is quite the challenge, to say the least.  We must move through and beyond our pain of experiences which did not occur as planned and realize that truly "it's all for the best" because we are better for having experienced it.  Remember the age-old philosophy:  "it's not what happens to you that's important -- it's your REACTION to what has happened to you that's important."  Anyways, hang-in there, kiddo -- you seem to have universes to offer and I know one day, the right person will pass your tests.  (Yes, by the way, this actually is from a song of mine -- the give-away, I guess is the repetitive stanzas...).
