In a corporeal internship...

This one is for all the ladies here who may doubt that "good guys" still exist.  It was suggested recently (in a good way, mind you) that I "think too much", so here's one that showcases the heart, for a change:
"THINKING OF YOU"

Often I reflect
On the time together spent
Though only for a while
How quickly by it went

Still, in those precious moments
Others fail to see
I savoured every second
In your company

Your words contained the essence
Of a summer's gentle breeze
They soothed my soul like music:
And made me feel at ease

Your velvet lips enticed me
With their fragile dance
Like gazing at a candle,
They put me in a trance

The purring of your voice
The Life within your smile
And through your eyes, I glimpsed your soul
Which left me so beguiled

Yes, I want to know you better
I yearn to be with you
To hear all that you have to tell
And share what you find true

Remember that you have a friend
Not just for Valentine's Day
But for any time you have the need
I'm just a call away.

I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep.
I'm in too far, I'm in way too deep over you.
You'll always be the one.

Thank you kindly, SEA...  I am honored.  Feels good to brush the dust off of these and share them.

Betty Lou, thank you for your feedback.  I have many more to post -- thanks for watching!

JM, I am most flattered, coming from your talented mind.  A heart-felt thank you.  I'm inspired to share some more.

Mark, you think just right..not too much.
And as one of the Passions ladies, I am glad to know there are good men left in the world. If not for this place, however, I would have to doubt it.
Sweet poem for someone loved. Did she ever get to see it?

Thank you, Sandra.  As I've commented before, I find it very sad to see the "reality" for myself, as well as reading it in the poems of so many ladies here...  now you get a glimpse of one of the facets of inspiration behind my poem "THE LAST OF MY KIND".  As for the recepient of "THINKING OF YOU", yes, she got it, but it didn't touch her to the degree I thought it might...  oh well.

Bob:  Cheers, indeed!  Sadly, Honor, Valiance, Truth, Chivalry, and Integrity seem to be constructs of only poems, nowadays.

Vandana:  thank you for another smile.

Thanks for reading, Fancy...  sometimes, reflections are meant to be gentle...

Tennessee Angel:  keep that hope alive!  It's time for the heart to steer and the mind to check the rear-view-mirror.  Thank you for stopping by and sharing.

Thank you kindly, Charisma.  One of the greatest feelings I can think of is to share something and restore its life while inspiring another.
