Lift me up on the wings of love,
Carry me high in the skies above.
Take me in the air so free,
Unshackle the bonds that you can’t see.
Free me from the earth’s hard grip,
Let me fly to the moon’s eclipse.

Lift me up on the wings of love,
Let me fly like the snow-white dove.
Soaring on winds of memories shared,
Always knowing you always cared.
Convey me to the clouds above,
Have them embrace me with your love.

Lift me up on the wings of love,
Merge me in the stars above.
As I glide, I see your face,
To shed a tear is no disgrace,
Show me the moon and sun once more,
Before I drift back to that earthen floor.

ahhh and you take us there with you in this serene write...
this is a butterfly poem for sure
beautiful Logan

I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep.
I'm in too far, I'm in way too deep over you.
You'll always be the one.
You were the first, you'll be the last.

Yes, this is most beautiful. The soaring feeling, the hope for continued love. I suddenly can't write love poems..so I even more enjoyed reading this one.

take me up then hence, godspeed
lay me back with gentle need
and know that once, in our embrace
gentle hands touched your face

Thank you Logan, for allowing me to add a few more lines to this wonderful piece...you are a lovely gift of inspiration...
