I worried that your wife would see The messages you sent to me Would it matter in the end If she knew I was more than a friend Would they care, here on this board Would we be skewered with pen and sword Would our names be bandied about If our love we proclaimed in shout Do we care if they gossip our name? We take what we can and feel no shame Who cares what it is we do You love me and I love you I hear the whispers as we post tonight Is she the one who gives him delight? Is he the man she'll love e're more I hear them tally their gossips score |

Great write...tell ya what...I only know a handful of people in here, and rarely chat online anymore, so, I don't hear/know any of the gossip, nor do I spread any! I just go along with my own business, enjoying pure poetry, without worrying about 'to whom not to reply,' and just working on getting more reads and replies in!! Nicely written, though! sp  it was love that first drew me, |
