where the sky and horizon meet

There you lay,
twitching and growling,
dreaming of prey.

You awake,
see me beside you,
and start to vibrate,
from the purring inside you.

I love you,
my furry companion,
my sweet little kitten,
and big wild lion.

I'm going crazy, I'm losing sleep.
I'm in too far, I'm in way too deep over you.
You'll always be the one.
You were the first, you'll be the last.

from a cat lover with four cats, this is charming, even if it actually turns out to be  a metaphor, it could very much be about a real cat.
