RMW, I am sorry but the PiP Forums are for "original" works only. As this thread cointained but a single poem by Robert Browning, and no original poetry of your own, I'm afraid that it was inappropriate for this forum.

well, personally, i think the poem is wonderful and it would be great if they allowed posting them, but i'm pretty sure there are rules here about posting copyrighted material. i think Ron has said before that even if the author is deceased, most certainly some publisher owns the copyright. i've been around here for quite a while and remember discussions about this before. i'm not a moderator, so i can't give you official details but thought i'd answer, since you asked.

great browning poem... good choice! i love it!
