What's up y'll...I know it's been a while but believe me, I'll never stop posting....anyways, this is something I came with off the top of my head instantly, spontaneously and unimprovised so, it's not gonna be constructed like my written pieces....I freestyled cause, I'm too lazy to go into my archives and type a poem...this is a just a little something for those who like my poetry and for those who may be missing my presence on this board....anyways, enjoy!! Life ain't fair, life ain't fair but, no matter the degree of difficulties, I swear, I shall persevere, I shall persevere because, I refuse limitations, I refuse limitations, I refuse to be confused and screwed by drug abuse, I refuse to lose and face incarceration from a criminal situation, I refuse to limit myself to the level set by my critics, I refuse to limit myself to Mcdonalds' or some minimum-wage occupation cause, I plan to expand in societies' degree of physics, I refuse limitations, I refuse limitations, because, I believe in me and divine inspiration I refuse limitations, I refuse, to be lackin just because, I have black skin I wanna shine like gold so when I get old, you'll find me relaxing, eating a bag of cracklins, stressing affirmative action, like Jesse Jackson, stressing to young kids to get an education, and that drug-dealing, is a dead-end occupation cause, what you don't know, will contribute to your demise cause, life without knowledge is like, death in disguise!!! Nate....keep on refusin' those limitations. I have a feeling that your example will shine onto those who really need your inspiration, and I'm glad that it is shining once again here!!! Glad you are back!!! The road goes on forever, and the stories never end... |
