Surrounded in this place
As I am by the handy work
Of nature, or god,
I wish to release my spirit
And walk among the ghosts
Of all that I do not understand

I would seep into the cracks
In this stone, that I might understand
The quiet passing of time
On a scale not understood by man

I would burrow in this soil
That I might taste the fertile
Bounty it holds and create the vessel
It would take to hold this knowledge.

I would mate with the water
As it flows in hurried haste to
Join that which it is a part of,
And understand the cycles
Of being reborn.

I would kiss the sunshine
And cry the raindrops
As I journeyed from here
To the places I now can’t go.

I would lie inside your love
And slumber in peaceful repose
As the things I am, change,
To the things I wish I were.

Surrounded in this place
As I am by nature, or god
I would release my spirit
And walk among the ghosts
Of all I do not understand.

OK, Ron - en guard.  You may get in trouble for discussing mating with H2O and kissing Sunshine in this forum

(Laughing) Hadn't thought of it that way... better watch my step or someone will toss me out of here on my ear...of course that too might offend if "my ear" happens to be a registered user

cpat, you make a person believe, just with your words...and for some who have heard certain words before and found them to be untrue, that is a feat worthy of admiration. Now I wish to go into the unknown and never return.

Cpat,
Absolute Greatness!!!
I can relate well to this
to become apart of something
to know what it knows and feels
An old battle field... to rain drops
Thanks
