As I drift to sleep tonight
My last thought is of you
Close my eyes till morning light
You're everywhere I go, in everything I do

Tears flow onto my pillow, like the gentleness of rain
Still I am able to smile
I can't help but feel the pain
I'll lay like this for awhile

You said "goodbye", I know it's not for long
Tomorrow will come and I'll see u once again
I'll be my "goofy" self and sing you some song
You've become much more than my friend

I love you to the point of infinity...infinity and beyond
Somehow we'll find a way to make things right
With tomorrow's sunshine and the start of a new dawn
I'll put aside my sorrows and the tears of tonight

Maybe we were right today
And we should just let this part of US go
Sometimes there are no words left to say
I suppose in time we'll just know

I'll forever hold you close to me
Tuck you safe away in my heart
I'll love you for all eternity
Even if tomorrow we shall part

Please know you are my greatest love
You've brought me such love and peace
I thank our Lord who sits high above
Even if we engage in this bittersweet release

..."sometimes there are no words left to say"...

what a profound truth found neatly tucked in amongst these tender ponderings...oh that we all would learn this lesson, and at those times just let love speak for itself...lovely

Wnderful writing dearest lil sister, you know I'm smiling don't you? Good because this is a smile, wrapped in a dreaming sigh.

So beautiful and heartfelt, Amy.  Great expression here.  I hope all your dreams come true, you deserve it.
