Rewrite:

       To make a dream

For you to make a fantasy,
You take a day of pleasant sway,
Add a touch of delicacy,
A pinch or so of salt to stay.

Savor it, in the deep of sleep
Garnish it a sauce of power
Then add a will, to wile its keep
And it will bloom a phantoms hour.

You may have summoned Galahad
Or for some summoned a Venus
Depending on descriptions add.
To suit the dream to suit the genus.

To make the recipe succeed,
You must add essence to the store
You must evade the seed of greed.
Or dreams will end and close its door.

For dreaming holds corrosive might
Elusive as the ghosts of night.

I have often used this recipe, though mine is not quite so eloquently worded
Another great poem

JM,
Yes it has and one of these days I'm going to saddle up Randy and wisk you away. And we will escape to fantasy land. Please pass the raspberry tea. Winkiewinkie Stinky

Elizabeth,
I am afraid we are addicted to this tea and I can only wish you the happiest of dreams.
Love Sy

Addicts, unite!
For I would write
as you do, see?
Except, alas
I haven't any
raspberry tea...

big smiles!
