Will there be a day soon
you reach out your arms
and take me
and open up your heart
the way it use to be?

Will I hear you say you love me;
as we tightly embrace
will you hold me tight
and look into my face?

Will I be able to look
into the very core of your soul
and see feelings for me
both new and old?

Will I feel myself tremble
as my emotions unfold;
will the fears and the pain
turn to tears of gold?

Will you excite me
the way you did before;
will I leave you hungry
and wanting more?

So many questions
running through my mind;
I just have to take it
one day at a time;
trying to
trust
and hope
and believe
my faith in you
you won't deceive.
