The love i felt for her couldn't have been truer she became my light that guided me through the darkness, The love i felt for her was given back to me in full each day became a new day. She grew in beauty like flowers growing in the rain and the stars could not compete with her sparkling eyes, I gave her all the love i had to give and she gave we a brand new day every day. Then everything changed like grey skies covering the blue and sadness came knocking at my heart's door, The love i gave her couldn't hold back time and each new day became simply a day. The summer turned into the coldest winter i had ever known it became dark without her light to guide me, The days that had turned to years flew passed before we had a chance the day had ended. Although you are no longer with me your love remains i know i will hold you again in another time and place The love i felt for her couldn’t be hidden in death and i know that one day i will find a brand new day with you. |
