This is where we sit in summer
underneath this beautiful tree
she does know that we do love her
'cause she kept her downside free
Hardly do we cut the branches
she lets them hang there in the air
And as we pass her to the backyard
we bow our heads we do take care
In the Spring she gives us blossoms
one by one 'till she's covered white
her fruits look like the seeds of roses
they need a frost before you can bite
She sure is a treasure in our garden
as her leaves are just whispering fine
how would anyone not enjoy her
sitting there sipping a glass of wine

I sure wish I could come over for a cup of tea with you!  This is a lovely setting. I loved thinking about all of the beautiful things growing around you there!

Oh if only that could be true, the three of us sitting here sipping wine...

Thanks for reading and I will think of you this summer when it's hot and I'm resting lazy in it's shade. LOL

Thanks so very much for your replies.
Shame you all live so far away for I would gladly invite you to join me in a glass of wine.
