To me it seems a tragedy
that much that we call poetry
( an art instilled in infancy )
is lost due to complexity .

To rhyme's considered child's play
not to be taken serious
well I , for one , have this to say
such stuff makes me delirious !

Would you dismiss the brothers Grimm ?
Denounce them as a passing fad ?
And what of Shakespeare , William ?
For surely he did rhyme a tad !

I think what I would say to thee
( if you came barking up my tree )
" There's nothing wrong that I can see
with rhyme when it's used sparingly !"

I have been arguing with myself all week..."I will not rhyme...(not all the time)" lol...thanks doc, you always make me smile...it's good medicine!
