Who Needs a Smile Today?

by Michael

Who today needs a smile,
a caring voice,
sincerity,
no price to pay
for having your hand held?

Who has porcelain tears
in need
of one to catch
before
they fall
shattering
in their solitude?

Who needs an embrace,
a kind word,
a resting place,
a shelter
‘til your strength returns?

If I could,
I'd give a smile,
a hug,
and share my peace
with each of you.

My friends and fellow writers,
please know I care.
I wish you well.

Question is...who DOESN'T need a smile and a hug today?  SOOO glad that his words feel like that to me ~ I can just see his smiles and feel his hugs.  I don't think I will ever get tired of reading them!!  ~   Becka
