Of all the choices you could have made that day,
You chose to send a message my way.
The words I heard sounded so honest and sincere,
they brought to my eye a tiny little tear.
I knew I must try and find the man
who had melted my heart without touching my hand.
From the very first words it was so easy to do
laughing and talking for hours with you!!!
Your thoughts and feelings seemed so close to mine
I felt I had known you for a very long time.
Could it be that someone knew
I had a need for a friend such as you?
I believe an ANGEL knew just what to do
when she brought me straight to you!
It seems I felt her wings brush my cheek
as I listened to the words you spoke, so sweet!
You left me with a feeling of joy in my heart,
but...I want to tell you my very favorite part!
If for just a very few moments in time,
I have felt your heart beating with mine.
Where all this will lead, I cannnot say
I just know I'll never forget
that very special day!!!

I read your encouragement to add "constructive critiques"...and wonder if "jet touch the heart..." is indicative of a play on words....

but this I liked, even if I were to think that this poem reflected your moment, then I would adhere to ME's impression as well...

I enjoyed!

Welcome to Passions!  I like your screen name and enjoyed reading this open and honest dedication.  Proceed with caution!
