You created me out of your love
And from that place I grew
How can I tell you that this life
Gives me more than I am due

Your kindness never failed me
Your wisdom was always sound
And when I really needed you,
I knew you'd always be around

When I was down, you built me up
Gave me memories to share
In light of noon and dark of night
I knew that you'd be there.

You may not be a father in fact
But in deed you surely must be
For Ron, I thank you for fathering
Passions in Poetry.

Happy Father's Day Ron!

Sharon ... this is delightful!
What a lovely tribute to the magnificent "father" of this wonderful poetryland!

Happy Father's Day Ron! (though I promise not to call you "dad" in my e-mails)

Best wishes,
/Kit
