The Full Moon...

I look out my window
and it seems as dawn's early light,
altho it's just the middle of the night.
I know there's a full moon shining above
Smiling down on those
who are lucky in love.

For the confused, it sheds bright light
so they may have better sight.
For the lonely, it's company;
if you're shut out, it's a key.
For the cold, it's a heat lamp;
for the travelers, it lightens their camp.
For the broken hearted, it's a dream;
for the lover's, a plan and a scheme.
The stories it could tell
if it could talk...
of lovers who stayed
and lovers who walked;
of dreams broken
and dreams that came true;
hopefully that dream
is me and you!

Hi Fancy,

Welcome to Passions, I hope you are enjoying your stay and this is a wonderful poem about Luna and her pull, very nicely done.

Love, Cerenity
