Outside Looking In

0 posted 2001-06-16 12:21 PM

I hear you
I feel you
eyes mist in reach
I hold you

Threshold there I see
through your eyes
feel the tears
roll down my own cheeks

I hear you
I feel you
all dreams awaiting love
I surround you

The precipice calls
words made gold by one
Years we are here
struggling for strength

I hear you
I feel you
my eyes awash fears
I trust you

Night so long road
stumbled regained grasped
time has indeed
told the tale

I hear you
I feel you
It can never again be denied
I love you

Leap and I will catch you
Fall and I will lift you
Reach I will embrace you
Release we become one forever our bond

Upon this
the night of the threshold

Welsome, nice beginning! And thanks for responding to my work, also. I like this, speaking of love found. Happy endings are well worth the pain to get there.

Welcome to Passions!   This is a great poem with a great title.....I love the ending!

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie
