Now we take
the tabliture---
words of wisdom
etched in stone
written by
the hand of God
and break them
to make them our own.
Every piece a puzzle--fits..
every jagged edge of grit
every thought an unlit wick...
potential flickering of home.

All the laws of universe,
within--without--a dance, perverse...
A silhouette
in pirhouette
shadow of myself, alone.

and the memories unwind,
un-done by one
in silent lie
as the memories unfold
grant reprieve
from stories told.

Dance with me
in candlebox
behind the door
we're free of locks
etching glass in smoky dread
life--defiant of the dead.

Yep! we do!   Your'e writing better already now that you're a year older!  Great poem Celeste!

The role of poetry is to utter the un-utterable; to open up
spaces of consciousness and resistance; to language oppressions; to
re-language historie

serenity,
Intriguing . A moth to a flame , dancing perhaps too close to the fire . To me this speaks of things deliciously forbidden , the more so sweet . Fleeting images conjured from another time . Excuse my ramblings .
Well done .
