It’s not even noon and my mind wanders to thoughts of her. She is such a fine woman, a great mother, friend and lover. I’m going to send her flowers and I think, since this is Friday, I'll take her to that Bed and Breakfast, out in the country, where we spent our second honeymoon.

Thank you father God
For the gift of this woman
My soulmate for life

So glad it’s Friday. I have everything done before the weekend….I hope he wants to spend some time with me. It’s been a long week and I’ve missed his company, his laughter, his loving.

Dear Lord in Heaven
He is the love of my life
My precious husband

Of course, the traffic is heavy on Friday night. I hope she liked the flowers. Of course she did. She always does. How much I appreciate her. I could never be a woman. She cares for our children, our home, me. I put in 12-14 hours a day, come home to relax and she does for me and the children into the night.

Wonderful woman
Greatest mother in the world
How much I love you

He sent me flowers. My favorite, no less. Daisies and Tulips…..white and purple. He hasn’t forgotten. His sweet way of saying, thank you. Does he know how much they mean to me? My thoughts are lost to him, and I smile, knowing he’ll be home soon.

He is so thoughtful
He never fails to tell me
That he loves me still

Now I know she liked the flowers. Look at the love sparkling in those beautiful eyes … the bright smile that tells me I’m the only guy in the world. How I love and adore her. I gotta be the luckiest fella in the world.

I drown in her eyes
Her smile is so exciting
And she still loves me

He is so handsome. His smile still makes my heart  flutter. I remember our first dance like it was only moments ago. The waltz we fell in love to. It’s been too long since we last danced.

He still moves me so
With just one look in his eyes
My love grows deeper

I put my arm around her to kiss her hello and she turns into me turning this into a lingering hello. She has a gleam in her eye that tells me she’s got thoughts … impishly interesting thoughts. Good, so do I.

Soft wonderful lips
We never tire of kissing
Each one a promise

His warm kiss never fails to make my skin hum and my blood race. I hold a little tighter, letting him know where my thoughts are drifting to. Seems he’s already there, waiting for me.

Passionate kisses
Promises of tender love
Unspoken notion

We talk about the events of the day and I tell her my idea about the bed and
breakfast. I can see her thinking, that same sparkle in her eyes. How do I
tell her how much I adore her, how much she means to me, how much a part of
my life she is … no, how she IS my life?

Thou art my life dear
Only reason for living
Thee, spark of my soul

How did I get so lucky? God surely smiled upon us, that night so long ago. It wasn’t fate that brought us together. No, it was angels. He is not simply just a part of me, I look at him and see myself. He wants to go to the B&B………I packed our bags this afternoon, hoping to surprise him.

Two souls together
Bound by love and made as one
Ever, man and wife

Oh this was so pretty, and if all marriages could only be as you two have written I might just try it one more time - lol!  A wonderful collaboration.
