Three words in which to say
What I feel for you
But do you think I can say them?
No, I can’t it’s true

I can make the strong man
Weep tears of joy or sorrow
My words can tell a story of
A yesterday or tomorrow

My dictionary and thesaurus
Hold the words within their covers
Those words I’ve read countless times
Written by so many others

Do you think I can write them
Here upon this page in black
Or will they stay upon my lips
Unsaid, so I can’t take them back

If you knew how much I need
To tell you how I feel
If only I had those three words
My love I could reveal.

Maybe if you look closely you'll find those three words.  I like!

Oh......I loved this one.
Truly an enjoyable read.......for a truly elusive words.......

If you look deep down
you will see
the words
which I can't say
etched in my soul
carried secretly
in my eyes......

Thank you

Three of the most needed words for us all are too often a fright to deliver. Once escaped from lips won't evaporate and are unretractable. Hope you can....someday.
