Listening to every heart

Phenomenal Miracles

In the gentle of this day
soft expressions abound
in the light of the rays
gently cascading down

aged old eyes wide open
with the brilliance of young
on the wind a whisper of
ancient songs being sung

a phenomenal day for miracles

not in me, not in me
not to see, not to see
grace and beauty
surrounding all of we

the dreamers dreaming
even though bombs are falling
hurricanes rage, quoth the sage
terribleness reigns in places
yes there are abject faces
we hold them all in our graces

praying for phenomenal miracles

looser, looser, let loose the grip
on hope and peace and quietude
sending forth on wing of dove
phenomenal miracles of this, our love

so today, this moment, this space in time
should you read these words, then be kind
spread a phenomenal miracle, one of yours
and let your prayers be silently heard.

Karilea
If I whisper, will you listen?...
I would rather be silent and write, than speak loudly and be bound.

the moth thanks you

Miracle
Vertical Horizon

It's taken much too long
To get it right
Would it be so wrong
To maybe find someone
A miracle

And all you really need
Is everything you could never be
And so you'd give it all
For a miracle

Chorus
Is there a trace
Inside her face
Of a lonely miracle
And so you wait
And lie awake
For a lonely miracle

You never really know
What it is
Not until it goes
And if it comes again
It's a miracle

But what you miss is love
In everything below and up above
And could she bring it all
A miracle

Chorus

All you wanted was a (miracle)
All you needed was a miracle
A miracle
And all you wanted was a (miracle)
All you needed was a miracle
A miracle

It's taken so long to get it right
Could it be so wrong
To maybe find someone
A miracle

Chorus

I think that this moth is really a butterfly too humble to spread her wings and soar. Be free, sweet butterfly. karilea beautiful poem, reminds me of the wise words of Lao Tze Tao.

"Build a man a fire, he'll be warm for a day. Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life". Terry Pratchett
