You and me
by now should be
like an well oiled wheel
beyond getting a feel
for one another
we should be like brothers
an unbreakable bond
making "us" above & beyond
the opinions of the world
my guy, your girl
moving in harmony
like earth & sea
yet, much got in our way
do we leave? or stay
and make it as
it's meant to be?
A well oiled wheel,
just you & me...

Thank you, Captain, it's good to get a chance to stop in a read and comment a little! *smiles*

Interloper! do you really mean it? Just you and me? *chuckling* (j/k) Thanks! I think the title fits perfectly!

Life, often seems to get in the way of what should be.   I really liked this.

Not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

honest opinions??

i think "a well oiled wheel, just you and i" is very catchy...this somehow reminds me of a famous wheelbarrow poem
