She longed for him beautifully
in lingering sighs of heart
Pale beauty, clothed in
pure white
Feminine grace,
in delicate longing,
reaching to touch
his soul

And I paused,
passing by
My breath caught
as I too, stared towards the horizons
to catch sight of
the one she longed for,
Love

Not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
