Lyric.
As always, comments and suggestions are always welcome.

I'm wading through this muddy creek
barefoot with my radio
wind is warm, water's cold
the song is just a echo

The sun is hanging on to the sky
and I'm trying not to cry

*********
CHORUS>>
Cus that's where you were
the last time I saw you
and that's where I want you to be right now

How do I learn, to live without you?
when everywhere I turn
that's where you were
*********

I'm sitting on my ol back porch
fireflies are dancing
doing just what they do best
tryin to find romance and

the sun is trying to say good-nite
and I'm wishing I could fly...

CHORUS

Bridge>>

I know that you won't come back
I'm dreamin but it's just that
feelin that you're still here....

The daffodils are in the yard
right where you planted them
I added tulips late this fall
and took a chance that

the sun would keep them alive
and somehow we'd both survive

cus THAT'S WHERE YOU WERE
the last time I saw you
and that's where I want you to be
right now.....

(does anyone relate to this? Did i lose you anywhere?)

xoxoxo Kindest regards,
Kay-lynn

Thank you Logan.

I have received some comments previously that they wanted to know if the person in the song was dead or gone or what. I don't think it really matters do you?

The "missing" feeling is universal I think.

This is beautiful.  I've never been able to write songs, but you've done it wonderfully.  Very emotional.  I applaud.

Not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

....I sit here in silence, going back in time to familiar places...familiar faces...a link I share with you in the very real emotions stirred from an empty place at the table of the heart!!!

loved the melodics and cadence of this..
it read to me like its about someone who died..
but maybe I put that there...but youre right...
it doesnt matter if its a break up or death..
the missing and longing are conveyed.
Too bad we cant load this up on real player and hear it.
well done lady of the lyric, nice to see your name here again.

she said I dont know why you ever would lie to me
like I'm a little untrusting when I think that the truth is gonna hurt ya

Thank you friends, for all your kind words.  It's nice to know I don't have to RE-WRITE this one! (smile)

I will get a real audio version prepared soon.

I previously posted THE LAST MAN ON EARTH a while back, you can hear that one at www.mp3.com/kaylynn

Thanks again for giving me your comments, it truly does help.

I'm glad you like that part.... (smile)
