You are what I wanted
You are what I hunted

And,

As far as I knew

Love,

Was loving you

Carousels and brass rings
Playing in my mind.
You are all I ever hoped to find.

I hope to find you love me
A love that will withstand
I hope to find the brass ring
Is gold upon your hand

You’re my warmest center
Let spring turn out for winter

If our hearts beat out of tune
Would they unravel soon?
Spun from golden thread
The type that spins my head

That’s where it would start
The thread upon our heart
The needle plays the tune
Would it unravel soon?

Carousels and brass rings
Playing in my mind.
You are all I ever hoped to find.

You, I could not conceive
You’d give your time for me
And now we make believe
Round and round and free

Threads of golden strand
A love that will withstand
I hope to find the brass ring
Is gold upon your hand

Ah........I love to see a man in love!

Not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

The brass ring fascinates so many, yet so many refuse the risk of falling. It is warming to find one who was swung out sans net, risking all he is for that elusive prize: love. Very well expressed, WoW, and the unstructured approach with varied line breaks trains the eye, causing better absorption of material and message.
