~* Listening To The Rain *~

Listen to the rainfall,
Listen to the wind.
Listen to the silence;
I'm missing you again.

Looking only at grey clouds,
Where has my sunshine gone?
Watching raindrops falling,
Makes my day so long.

Remembering your laughter,
I see a rainbow form.
Then out behind those gray clouds,
Sneaks the sunshine bright and warm.

Remembering your smile,
The raindrops cease to fall.
I can feel you close beside me,
But you're not here at all.

And I...

Listen to the rainfall,
Listen to the wind.
Listen to the silence;
I'm missing you again.

~*~For my friend Dawn in Texas - stay dry ~*~
art: Steven Hanks "Inside Looking Out"
song: Secret Vow (for A and D)

Sharon...you certainly have your timing
down to the point that you know when to say something at just the perfect time I need to hear it.  It has been an emotional roller coaster here, these storms are draining me...and I am feeling a little blue tonight, and missing someone very precious to me.
Thank you for this beautiful song that surrounded my heart in warmth and peace...
(and the music was just awesome)
You are an angel on earth, and I love ya muches....(((((((HUGS)))))))))))))
and Smiles to you, always, Dawn

As always since I have been reading your work, I find myself so caught up in the words you say that it's almost like I'm there. I love your poems and look forward to them. Beautiful is written all over this one and everything you write.

This is STUNNING........You've captured it completely.  The ending made me cry.   I loved this.

Not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.

Dawn: You know I would give anything to be there in hipwaders don't yeah? And I wish I could build a bridge to stretch from Texas to "that place" but I can't so I will just say I love you girl, hang in there, and stay dry.

Janet Marie: Neither can I to tell you the truth, neither can I, thank you.

Saunni: See now you know me, no fair!  He he, you can read between the lines now sweet one.

Logan: I am a "rainy day specialist", ever have one - call me, and thank you for reading.

Tovi: Oh thank you for your sweet words, I appreciate the time you spent reading this.

Marge: Awww, I am pleased you are pleased!

Andy: You send me something you sang, I will put it on here you bet!  And it is I who am grateful for your friendship dear man, you are a treasure.

I am so glad that the rest of you so enjoyed this one, it was just a little heart message sent for two people I love, and I hoped it would show them I cared.  Thank you all for reading it.
