Standing there by the pond
in cast of light of sun in pink,
I watched him barely listening.
I watched him--thirsty eyes in drink.

I loved the very lines of him.
The way his shirt cleaved to his chest.
I wanted so to capture that---
his strength became my restlessness.

And as if he heard me think,
he turned to me gesturing,
an offering of sweetest smile
distant instance reconciled.

This is the feed for my sweet dreams.
Just him there, calling to me.
Surprise of lovely beckoning.
Just him there. Calling to me.

Yes, I have to agree, this is beautiful. And the one thing I would like to see, that is NOT going to happen.
Sigh.

Serenity,
A dream well captured, a poem well written.
