I Just Didn't Have The Heart...Until You It is the heavens that share with me a new color of night And, Oh, how one Lady shines Staring at my minds image of you from down on my knees I think peace has finally touched me this time... I live my days not knowing honesty even in front of my face But, YOUR words took me by heart Without question I believe you'll teach me to fly And, your wings will be my strength even miles apart... I never knew a stranger's way of life could be my light And, I thank the heavens God gave you to me I just didn't have the heart until you, My Friend To feel forever here so patiently... You just reached and from God I was able to hold on I pray the heavens let me keep a hold so tight For I just didn't have the heart until you, My Friend To face another sleepless night... You're going to set this heart free to things I've never known And, the hurting hands will soon go away I just didn't have the heart until you, My Friend To live just more rainy day... Help me hold up my head and take the finest of walks The road has been cold here for years For you have the arms to hold the hurting kind And, an angels method to end these tears... Thank you for finding me out here on my own I just didn't have the heart to walk this alone I couldn't end the heartaches I was chosen to live through My Friend, I just didn't have the heart...until you... Saunni; A beautiful and heartfelt tribute to a special lady who has certainly been there for me so many times...and continues to be there. Friends reaching out and extending their hands and their hearts to another in times of need are what it's all about. I am so happy for you that you found her, and that she has been able to help you through the storms of your life.
