Listening to every heart

multitudinous thoughts

from every angle
under dustsheets
out of closets
cupboards
little dark corners
snippets,
snippets,
everywhere

“now that you’ve gone and done
that”

“go now and tell me how to do it
again”

“under the bluest sky his eyes
held court”

“thoughts of her tickled fancies as the breeze
played her skirt”

“she was the pretty woman
but never heard the song”

“before she went to dream,
she softly called
his name”

“his days began with sun’s
first light,
and he recalled
the good times”

“her walk was directed at his
want”

“bubbles filled her, and he
shimmered in her glow”

all these lonely beginnings
with no middle
and an end
never in
sight

The never ending snippets of phrase that so often run through the poets head would seem so silly and senseless to those without the gift.  You found a wonderful way to pile some of them together to share with all that carry the gift...or sometimes curse!  Thank you for sharing, with each phrase my heart spoke a song.

Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind...

Hi Sunshine,

This was wonderful and I learned a new word (snippets) never heard that one before, great work here, enjoyed.

Oh, my, each phrase seems to be the beginning or the end of a wonderful tale...I love the one about the breeze playing her skirt, and the one...nope, I love 'em all and I want to hear the rest of the story for each one!!!  Either that, or I want to try writing the rest of the story.  These would be so good to put in the challenge spot, but then they are also so much yours.  they fill my head with wondering and my spirit with excitement.

I think we all have these bit and pieces lying around..you did a great job of tying a lovely poetic ribbon on them.

(smiles) Yes, inspirations and thoughts are infinite, they are found in every corner and under every ocean and in every cloud of the sky. (smiles) Some inspirations may only be fragments of a masterpiece, but they all fit together and bring out the magic of every place and wonder everywhere! (sigh) Beautiful poem, sweet Sunshine! You have sucha  beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Karilea, wonderful poem for all the words and phrases we abandon our search for inspiration.
