People sometimes say
Oh to live my life over again
To take back that moment
To relive that decision
And I got to thinking
What would I do differently...
Would I choose a different path?
Would I live a different life?
And you know what I decided?

I decided that no...
Theres nothing I would do different...
No other path I'd choose
Because all the paths Ive wandered
Have led me here to you...

Hey there Missouri Mamma.....I love the reasoning behind this...like everything happens for a reason...I know a lot of people think that way.....I really enjoyed reading this piece......
Too bad about the St Louis Blues and The Toronto Maple Leafs....ah well ....next year!

I loved this.  I do also like to think there is a reason we go where we do in life, that we do chose the roads that lead home.   My compliments, Paula

I have mixed feelings on this Paula...some I miss so much...yet I have often thought those same thoughts...I would have never met the one I'm with now if I didn't move on...yet I still miss some so much...James

Ahh, Paula, I so enjoy reading you, but think of this, if we choose a different path, would we be the same person we are today, I think not, and for one, gentle smile, I like you just the way you are

Sigh...Oh what a beautiful sentiment!

Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind...

Personally, I'd change a few things...your poetry is not one of them.

I'm one of those "everything happens for a reason" guys. We may take a wrong turn and get to a party late and regret the mistake, but if we had taken the right road we may have ben involved in an accident, There's no way to know. JFK Junior's wife would have regretted her entire life if she had made him angry some way and he called off the wedding. Instead they were married and she died.....to all there is a reason..

good writing, Madam Mizzou

"Everything happens for a reason?" hmmm...that's just too much for my lil ole head to worry about! I say, put on some music, kick off your shoes and dance!

Go ahead on "lil queenie!"

Enjoyed, as always Paula!
