Stage One

Given is a gleam of fantasies seem
It waits but the touch of a butterflies dream.
It took but a wink, a think of my mind
I offer it you, from a kingdom of kind.

It lies in a package of magic wrap
Folded in the webs of flowers sweet sap
Borrowed from humming birds fresh made today
Tied by rainbows the sweetest of May.

It sits in a garden of unseen delight
Lit by the sun in the warmest of bright
Laid on a lawn of the greenest of grass
Waiting the sight of the butterflies pass.

Next, in the grass sits a dragon quite tame
Smelling a flower not a puff or a flame
Denuding daisies she does and does not
With his eyes closed tight and hatching a plot

He says he’s a prince turned dragon by spell
Waiting a butterfly to save him from hell.

and OH HOW I LOVE the way that mind winks and unwinds in rhyme divine and ching of chime.

For as long as there exists butterflies and Tinkerbells ....
you never need worry of devil spells
Dare to dream of a dragon given new wings to fly
you wont know .. if you dont try.

(and once again you make this butterfly sigh)
