before you,

i called the stars beautiful,
they held such mystery.

i heard the music of the winds,
a song you only hear if you listen.

i saw all the colors in a rainbow,
no names, but my heart knew them.

then came you.

the stars are more beautiful,
because you see them too.

the wind knows your name,
and it sings to me a little louder.

but the rainbows are a bit greener,
jealous of the color of your eyes.
