In the winds of Cherokee song

Lace of mist from turbulent cascades
Forming bridal veil over virgin braids ...
Kisses of promise dancing on the breeze
In a ceremony of spirits in floral seas ...

Mystery of sorrow’s bestowed luxuries
Joining serenity’s tide with instinctive ease ...
Haven of synchronized silence providing reprieve ...
Marigold swirling violet into its weave ...

Wisdom of ancients flood destiny’s eyes
As tears of elation greet crimson skies
Embrace of centuries unite with intimate pledge
Releasing our vows across emerald ledge ...

Silken breath of chance’s bountiful hand
Granting respite from unyielding reality’s demand ...
Tomorrow’s certainty allowing uninhibited expression
As residual droplets trail in succession ...

The birth of today washes my spirit clean
As yesterday’s oblivion is now visibly seen ...
Tomorrow’s tranquility flows in thundering falls
Through treasures of nature as she calls ...

Mark Bohannan
Kris Hartley

I have found in you ... a reflection of me ...
and a path to the peace I have sought.

Words of "teach" and "pupil" blend with perfection in a description of one of nature's gifts I personally appreciate most. *S* This is an absolute delight to read... the imagery is stunning and the rhyme is flawless. Thank you for this visit to a place where tranquillity and peace reign. *S* And congratulations to you both... you've given us a treasure!

you guys make it really hard to pic a fave line here....
With both of yours alway impressive gift to pen imagery its no surprise this is full of
so many beautiful images and visions
as well as the poetically perfect turn of phrase...
and of course the impressive mix of Kris's  vocabulary...and Mark's gift of cadence and rhyme flow...
all wrapped up in the continued quest to find inner peace and harmony with ones soul and its connection to nature and the spirit who lived here first.
this is poetry in motion...absolutely beautiful guys.

I needed absolute quiet while I read this and that is the highest compliment I can pay you, as I needed to hear the waterfall and feel the spray, which you did.  Your images were utterly as perfect as the flow and rhyme.  Oh, did I say I loved it?
