*************For My Daughter Sapphire************ Sapphire 2001© From the moment I looked into your eyes all of my doubts and fears immediately became a thing of the past, And when I held you in my arms I knew happy days were here at last. Who would have thought that such joy could come from something so small? There was just something about you that made me want to surrender my all. Every morning when I wake up I see your smiling face And I’m reminded of God’s amazing grace. When I look into your eyes or watch you sleep at night I have this inner peace that lets me know everything’s all right. Such joy, such peace, such love… I’ve never felt this way. I have a blessing with me each and every day. I promise to love and take care of you my precious precious child - you are truly something special and always worth the while. When I hold you it’s as though you’re really holding me like a warm spirit surrounding my heart. Oh, how I feel that inner peace.
