if i had had a choice,
i would have told her.

something like this:

hi.
i've never experienced anyone quite like you,
you make me want to write poetry.

i don't know why.
if i did,
if i could explain it,
i'd have taken it and made it a part of myself.

but it comes from you.

silence hurts, sometimes.
when it's not what you want to do,
but what you have to.

I like your poem, it has a scent of some bitterness and sweetness in it.
