Watching the tube this morning, there for all to see
Was a white haired man with a book in his hand
Trying to tell what I need to believe
He said, son send me your money, send it all to me
I'll take you to the promise land
Your donation is all that I need

We have got to get it togeather
Through the same eyes I wish we could see
And when your looking at your neighbor
Do you see him as your enemy
Love your brother and honor your family
Treat others as you would be treated
We all just need to believe

We just want to be free

(sigh) God indeed tells us to "love thy neighbor" and I wish all neighbors could be generous and together we can all link together and offer love and peace to others. Your poem expresses this special virtue of love so very well, and the greatest donation is the light of ones heart. (sigh) Such a wonderful point, I love it! You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

So true and well said. Hypocrosy never ceases to exist...and upset me!
Great poem.

I can't control
my destiny
I trust my soul,
my only goal
is just to "be"

words we should all abide by, sometimes we fail, but we continue trying.
