Two crows
Join the murder
Atop the trees
As sunset begins
In earnest.

Black wings
Carried them
From field to
Tree just as
Darkness creeps
Into empty
Hearts

No melody
No harmony
But raucous cries
Fill my ears as
I too settle in
For a cold
Winter’s eve.

Legends say raven
Stole fire and gave
It to the people,
Getting singed
In process

I think of crows
And you

Apat Hair..as I read this, the crows were calling from the top of fir tree...I think they are angry at my black cat.  I like the way you write!
