Waves slowly crashing on sandy shores,
controlled with pull of iridescent moon.
Rising upward in majestic splendor,
ancient face in full array.
As upon the horizon, it makes its way.

Highway of serenity leading to dreams,
creating an avenue of peaceful bliss
Surely as the tides, the couple drawn,
pursuing the lure of its lighted path.
Following their hearts to the waters rim,

Feet being kissed by feathery foam,
bodies bathed in a soft white glow.
Tender looks between the two,
as ever was when the moon was new.
Two souls bound by the lighted moon

Logan~
The title drew me in -
but isn't that the way of the moon ?

'Feet being kissed by feathery foam,
bodies bathed in a soft white glow.
Tender looks between the two,
as ever was when the moon was new.
Two souls bound by the lighted moon'

I enjoyed this.

Seeing the ocean as a "highway to serenity" makes this for me.  Thank you.
