Take it..
It’s yours..
Not just a piece,
All of it.
It’s not as though
I could ever give
The rest to someone else.
It’s not as though
They could ever compare.
It’s not as though
I didn’t know I was losing it,
I gave it consciously.
You took it the same.
I don’t suppose that
I can ask for it back?
Didn’t think so.
Go ahead and keep it,
I wanted you to have it,
That’s why I gave it
To you.
