At first it came into the leaves,
down the branches, amidst the trees,
Reaching out to follow the ground,
so you would know I was around.
With softness it touched loose falling tresses,
bathing your cheek with long caresses

You closed your eyes so you could hear,
what was whispered in your ear.
“Oh gentle soul, do not fear,
for you know I’ll always be near.
Open your arms and feel what’s me,
dreaming your dreams to eternity.”

Slowly a smile spread over your face,
as lips were touched only a trace.
You only knew you felt alive,
there was no question you would survive.
You turned your back and walked away,
knowing the breeze would always stay.

Oh, yes. This turned out exquisitely, Sweet One. From the tops of the trees and down. I did enjoy this!

Oh, my !
Gentle shivers of delight found in soft breezes blown.

You write from a well-spring of emotions
that drenches the reader in refreshing perspective.

Enjoyed.

I almost closed my eyes to feel the sensations myself, but I didn't want to stop reading!

Oh what we hear when we close our eyes and open our hearts.  You've captured that with beauty and grace.  My compliments!

Not only to say the right thing in the right place, but far more difficult, to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment.
