I look at your picture,
your arms laying across a mirror.
Your hair just done so,
bright eyes, pools of light brown.

How sweet and serene you look
eyes staring... straight forward.
Angelic face, porcelain skin
dressed in white, an angel child.

In the mirrors reflection,
a diffferent angle, all together.
Eyes looking... off  to the distance,
a different perception.

This same face, different in image
how can this be, the one and the same.
Eyes piercing...searching
acting so michevious.

This angelic child, one so dear
stretch your wings, full extension
take your time, don't fly to soon

To my daughter of 13. With Love.

Oh this was just so special!  I know she is going to love these poems you will do for her.  I can sure relate to two looks out of one child, as the "little devil" is always in my angel's little mind I can tell you that for sure!  Loved it, hope she does too.

LatinPassion~
So nice to read this lovely poem about your daughter.

Magical creatures they are -

'In the mirrors reflection,
a different angle, all together.
Eyes looking... off  to the distance,
a different perception.'

They 'see' beyond our image of them ...
stretching, reaching out with their minds ...

*Hugs*

utterly piece you have penned here L Passion, showing your love for your daughter. it seems that they grow up so fast, too fast...especially as they are on that beautiful age between being a child or a young lady.
love your thoughts.

(sigh) Wow!!! This is such a beautiful tribute to your loving and beautiful daughter, who will grow to rise her wings to the greatest extents. I can see such loving resemblance between your golden heart and hers! (smiles) May she take her time and think about her dreams, where she then shalt fly to stardom! (smiles) Sooooo beautiful! You have such a beautiful heart, dear friend, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

I also see this as a lovely tribute to your daughter..and to all girls of this strange, wonderful AND terrible time in life! My oldest daughter is almost 10 and in some ways I love watching her grow, in other ways I wish I don't want the time to come where I really do have to start letting go.....

I hope you share this with your daughter...

I can't control
my destiny
I trust my soul,
my only goal
is just to "be"
