Mist of Time

Languishing in the pain
  Of my very own creation
   Searching silence praying
To hear a single song adored

Melody of yesterday
  Everydays lost tomorrows
   Listening strain ears desperatly
One refrain one single sweet note a
Doorway to the past nailed shut now
Your melody is you, lost to me forever

"The past my prison, confined in solitary voiceless penance."

SilentSongs~
The haunting refrain of another's sweet melody
lingers long after the song is gone.

Quite emotive writing.
Well done.

...listening strain ears desperately...

you play delicately with words and their meanings give voice to each wave of thought as one takes time to simply relish your work...

a beautiful write, this....

sing to me my love
bring your melody softly

Memories remain
melodies made of time's flow
singing tommorow

How many melodies we lose along the way.....??
I try hard not to think about that.....

A truly touching and so much said in its few lines.

Thank you for the read.
