The dealer of fate sits before me
Please hand me a card of smiles
for I have has travelled these roads, and their dusty stoney miles.
Time has not been good, and the pain inside me long
I have marched to the same old tune, the tune of a love lost song,
Now roads stretch once again before me, I look into the summer sky, and deep inside my heart there's a boy about to cry.

"card of smiles" my favorite line!

This is very touching.  Weep not for the road before you.  It will lead you to the future.  Brighter than you've ever imagined, my friend.

All writing comes
by the grace of God.

thanks all for your words of wisdom! - I shall add them to my never ending quest for this thing known as my life...yes, hold the spark for it is small, its power unimaginable.......
