Her skin is fragile as
the vellum pages
of a holy book
older than the breath of life.
it sloughs away
and flutters on
a moonbeam
as she wonders if
she will lose all of herself
to the winds that sing
down the alley-ways.
Transparent hands.
Beneath the sheer
covering can be seen,
her mechanical workings.
Blue veins that chart
the map of her life-force.
Tell of the blood of
a man's savagery,
as they wind among the
scars of a voyage
that was sometimes
less than peaceful...

"A woman is like a tea bag, you never know how strong she is until she gets in hot water..." Eleanor Rooevelt

I do wish I had written this....but since I did not come upon it yet, then I am very glad you have....

for I would have....it likes me that much...

and I shall place it in my library by tapping on the box below where it says "add thread to library"

and then it will be there for me to review, even after the Forums change to a new number....
