Bright the Day that you've been given
Look up, see how the sun has risen
Look round, see nature there for you
To give New Hope in all you do

A new day dawns and with the sun
Comes the peace of night undone
No more weeping, no more tears
Bright the day can still your fears

The sun arises, greet the day
It's time to cast your fears away
Rise anew; take on glad pride
Vanquish sorrow held inside

Start afresh, a new day dawned
Opportune moments now are formed
Seize the day; hold with both hands
Take life under your command

Look up see how the sun has risen
Bright the day that you've been given

Those of us who refuse to risk and grow get swallowed up by life.  Patty Hansen.

Mysteria,
I'm so glad you enjoyed it, I enjoyed writing it. Thank you for responding.

Poetminister,
I have read and admired some of your work, so I thank you for the praise to me.

Temptress,
Thank you. You sound like like you don't believe I can write inspiring, Well I can't I stole this one from Marsha, because she wasn't looking or using those words laying around her house *smile*

Kit,
thank you this came from a particularly splendid sunrise, and calm morning.

ethome,
I don't think this will evercome close to rock and roll, but that you like it is enough.

Janet Marie,
Thank you that you think I am a bright spot, most people think I am some bright spark, which is a different thing entirely. lol.

vandana,
thank you for your praise, I revel in it.

Giving this another trip up top. I actually got out in the sunshine today. LOL! I think my pale skin will literally be flaming at me in the morning though.

And..as for your thoughts on mine...Either light or dark. It is all inspiring in some way to me. All things inspire something, and inspiration isn't always a bright light.   Still loved this!

Interloper,
Thanks, I agree every day is a gift we just have to open up eyes to recognize it, but life sometimes conspires to keep our eyes closed.

Irish,
Well I was positive I knew what I was doing when I started this piece not I'm not so sure   Thank you.

Sunshine,
it would have to be huge hug for I'd need such very long arms. However Mr. Tickle and I have been practising. Here goes...  S-t-r-e-e-e-e-t-c-h.

*HuGS*

. See that wasn't so bad was it. Hang on let me get my arms untangled, B-O-I-N-G! Much better!

Temptress,
you are right in that there's not much good inspirational coming from me at the moment, and my reply was a little bit of playing that Marsha and I practice, sorry you got caught up in it. Thanks for your response.

Eagle One, I agree with the 'duh' but I can't say much about the rest. lol.  Thanks for the encouragement.

Sven,  I do believe I have a gift...of the Blarney!  Thanks so much. You owe me a Brother Sun poem, get cracking mister.
